Three-Dimensional Shock Topology Detection Method via Tomographic Reconstruction

چکیده

Shock waves and shock-shock interaction are typical phenomena in supersonic or hypersonic flows that have significant impacts on aerodynamic performance. To obtain a comprehensive understanding of the mechanism shock wave interaction, detection (SWD) methods required. However, it is often challenging for most current SWD to identify relationship between (also known as topology). address this issue, paper proposes novel three-dimensional topology method based tomographic reconstruction strategy. This involves extracting parallel slices from flow field, then utilizing two-dimensional recognition algorithm lines. bands obtained by connecting lines every two adjacent slices, surfaces generated assembling bands. Interaction also formed points. The detected structure composed “point-line-band-surface”, with other obvious. Numerical results show proposed can be categorized into families. Moreover, free gaps, holes, un-physical fragments, which an improvement over existing methods.

Tomographic three-dimensional reconstruction of cilia ultrastructure from thick sections.

We have applied a computer-based tomographic technique to reconstruct the three-dimensional ultrastructure of newt lung cilia. Epon-embedded samples were cut into 0.25-micron-thick sections that were imaged at 1 MV with a high-voltage electron microscope. For the reconstruction shown, a tilt series of 53 micrographs was taken at tilt angles between -54 degrees and +50 degrees. The reconstructio...

Fully Three-Dimensional Tomographic Evolutionary Reconstruction in Nuclear Medicine

3-D reconstruction in Nuclear Medicine imaging using complete Monte-Carlo simulation of trajectories usually requires high computing power. We are currently developing a Parisian Evolution Strategy in order to reduce the computing cost of reconstruction without degrading the quality of results. Our approach derives from the Fly algorithm which proved successful on real-time stereo image sequenc...

Three Dimensional Thermal Shock Problem in Magneto-Thermoelastic Orthotropic Medium

The paper is concerned with the study of magneto-thermoelastic interactions in three dimensional thermoelastic medium under the purview of three-phase-lag model of generalized thermoelasticity. The medium under consideration is assumed to be homogeneous orthotropic medium. The fundamental equations of the three-dimensional problem of generalized thermoelasticity are obtained as a vector-matrix ...

Three-dimensional Vibration Suppression of an Euler-bernolli Beam via Boundary Control Method

In this paper, the general governing equations of three-dimensional vibrations of an Euler-Bernoulli Beam under influences of system dynamics are derived by the Hamiltonian method. Then two fundamental cases of a cantilever beam and a rotating beam are considered. The conventional methods for vibration suppression debit to expenses and make new problems such as control spillover because they ar...

Approximate Newton’s method for Tomographic Image Reconstruction

In this report we solved a regularized maximum likelihood (ML) image reconstruction problem (with Poisson noise). We considered the gradient descent method, exact Newton’s method, pre-conditioned conjugate gradient (CG) method, and an approximate Newton’s method, with which we can solve a million variable problem. However, the current version of approximate Newton’s method converges slow. We co...
